Description

Bioinformatics is defined as the application of tools of computation and analysis to the capture and interpretation of biological data. It is an interdisciplinary field, which harnesses computer science, mathematics, physics, and biology.

Qualifications

The eligibility criteria for this course require 10+2, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any recognized board of education. BSc Bioinformatics admission is based on merit in most of the institutes and a few institutes also conduct their own entrance examinations.
